use owls vision to see where you come from.
Slip beneath the surface,
and feel yourself become full.

Make a marriage to the moon.

Divorce the false gods of intellect and reason.
Find meaning in your dreams
and in the secrets of your body.

Follow no authority -
but your own true nature.

Make a sacred fire
and throw on it all that you would use to harm yourself.
Make kindling from shame.

Let your dance be wild,
your voice be honest
and your heart untame.

Be cyclical,
don’t make sense..

The archetype of Lilith is a complex one, In ancient Sumeria she was regarded as the left hand of the Great Goddess Inanna. She assisted her by bringing the men to the goddess temples, to worship by participating in Tantric rites with the temple-women. As a result of this role Lilith became known as seductress and harlot. Her image differs from culture to culture, becoming more and more demonic as time goes on and patriarchal values begin to gain dominance.
Other legends show her to be the first woman to share paradise with Adam, a female “made by god” in a manner similar the first male. Lilith was thus the original first woman, rooted in her own connection to source, intact in her own power. In the Biblical myths, refusing to be subservient, Lilith was replaced in the garden by the more dependant Eve, a woman not made from the Earth but from a rib of Adam.

Lilith retreated from paradise, and became veiled.
She re-emerges when have the heart to see and eyes to feel.
